Direct fit, bolt on, the only his beam that will fit all T3 and T34 models with maximum possible lows. All you require is a set of Ball Joint T1 Beetle Trailing Arms/ Dropped Spindles and Torsion Leaves. The beam does the rest!
Our Titan Engineering Department has completely re-designed the method behind converting your Type 3 to Type 1 (Beetle/ Ghia Ball Joint) front end. The only one of its kind, direct fit, wheel spacing corrected using a perfect fit back section to the Type 3 framehead whilst also features built in castor and raised baseline tubes for optimum ground clearance.
The lower frame section features our new JBII removable lower sections. These sections are prone to hitting objects at extremely low ride heights and over a long period will erode. Our unique tower enables the simple and low cost replacement of this part once (or if) it wears out.
And perhaps the most noticeable difference is the bolt on end plates. A total ground breaker in terms of Type 3 beam design. This end plate can be fitted after the main structure of the beam is installed. Making it firstly easier to fit. But the main purpose of this design is to combat the year differences across the type 3 range.
Early Type 3 front inner wings feature matched (Left and Right) inner tubs. Whereas the later models feature a recess cut into the left wing. This obstructs the shock tower and means a notch on the inner wing is required to fit the beam. With this new design from Limebug and Titan Engineering the tower has three keyed positions giving you the ability to choose the tower height. So if you run a late vehicle this is still a 100% bolt on solution. But if ultimate lows are your preference the beam will still serve its purpose perfectly.
Another benefit of the new design of removable towers is not only can it still run OEM grease seals but also you can opt to change the tower to between our Titan (Static) and Air Ride (Jawbreaker) gusseted towers at any point should you decide to change how you want to use your vehicle.

Note: You will require a T1 Core (including 4x Ball Joint Trailing arms and 2x Ball Joint Leaves) to complete this setup, we can provide these at additional cost and supply spindles also if required. Again T1 Spindles will be required to fit..

Styck beam is produced from CDS (Cold Drawn Steel) Seamless tubing, then turned to length, Styck adjuster slot is then milled into the tubing along with the 4x grease points. Next we fit our custom Xero adjusters in place which give over 7.5″ of adjustment travel. These adjusters are set in place in such a way as to achieve maximum drop and still give a great range of upper adjustment on nearly all configurations.
Next we laser cut 8mm steel into our beautifully designed end plates, these are then CNC press braked to form a dog leg which will clear all factory inner wings on your new 4″ beam with no cutting, welding or drilling. Now we fit a turned 12×1.5mm solid threaded boss into the upper shock tower. Our shock towers are oversize in length to allow you to run your stock shocks for mild lowering and our gas charged shocks for the extra low Beetle / Ghia owners.
For the final step in the metal core assembly process, we precision load the components into the robot welding cell, at this point we fit our ramped base ’uprights’ which have oversize holes for simple easy installation on all frame heads.
Now the core is built we install our uniquely designed grease cavity / Delrin bushings system. This configuration allows the use of Delrin bushes which have great low wearing properties and will not damage your trailing arms over time, they also do not squeak like Urethane. Finally this also allows you to run factory grease seals keeping your grease in the beam, where it should be.
So that’s how the industry standard of narrowed front axel is made and some of the fantastic features it offers. All beams have the option to a powder coated finish, RHD / LHD, torsion leaves, track rods etc etc. Let Limebug cut out the guesswork and have a hassle free install.

Titan Engineering OE Narrowed Torsion Leaves
Professionally narrowed torsion leaves are the only way to narrow and lower your VW safely. As accredited and certified engineers we give a true cut to the length which work perfectly with our Beams / Front axels. We also use a custom made solid carbide dimple tool to re-produce the factory dimple to the correct depth and pitch.
Styck leaf is chopped down to give the correct shoulder distance to the edge for safety and a clean finish.
All leaves are either OE quality or genuine original stacks refurbished, this is stock dependent.
